When it rains, it pours. And my life is never the exception. June 16, 2007, Dallas, TX. The months leading up to this date had been consumed with massive rains and flooding. I had planned, 7 months prior, an outdoor wedding. And refused to have a backup plan, because it never rains in Dallas in the summer. But it did, and it did, and it did. 15 minutes prior to the ceremony's start and all the guests were seated in their fine attire. 10 minutes prior to the ceremony's start and the skies turned black. And then the downpour and people running through the mud. By the end of the night we had moved locations 4 times, heard the word "evacuate" 2 times, moved a full bar, buffet and wedding cake 2 times, pulled several people out of the mud, had guests who arrived in SUV's go get their cars in order to shuttle people across the rising creek, and we had watched chairs and the aisle runner quickly float away. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. And the more that people told me that during the chaos, the more I wanted to kick them with my high heels.
3 1/2 years later I decided I should write a song about the day since I had a built in music video with the wedding footage. Video is on the way and it's funny to say the least. But in the meantime I've put the song to a slideshow. I hope you enjoy my chaos!
Love the new song! What a great story and pictures to accompany it!

It was the best wedding I've ever been to! I've never had more fun getting wet, unless you count that time Seamus wanted to...

What a great song! Love the montage of bridesmaids getting out of the golf cart!

Gosh, your song is great, Lindsay! The vid is definitely NOT chaotic! ♥ I absolutely love everything in it! Your wedding day must have been a great inspiration, for you to write that. I also agree about what some people say, rain on your wedding day must really bring good luck! Good thing, all of you seemed to be prepared that day and everyone brought umbrellas!

Earn up to $3500/month just by taking simple surveys online!
I tried one of those online survey sites about 4 months ago that
say all you have to do is spend a couple of minutes filling out
some surveys and you will be making hundreds a day..... YEAH RIGHT, I didn't make anything.
I joined 7 of these stupid websites and I actually tried filling
out a couple of surveys on each site and they took forever then at
the end they wanted me to buy things or I couldn't complete the
survey.
These are complete scams so be aware!!! I couldn't believe they
were even allowed to sell such bogus products.
Then about 2 weeks ago I was watching the news and they had some
vice presidents and marketing managers of some major multi million
dollar companies talking about a site that they personally work
with to pay consumers for their opinion, A site that actually just
wants the "average Joe's" honest opinion on products and services
and is willing to pay big money to get them. for more information
